Through 3LB Consultancy, I work with organisations and individuals to develop brand identity, learning experiences and communication that connects with people.
Alongside this, Studio Creations is my creative practice exploring photography, prints and visual storytelling — capturing people, places and moments through calm and thoughtful imagery.
Together these strands form a creative practice centred around clarity, creativity and connection.
My Background
I’m Fern, a designer, learning specialist and creative practitioner with a background in art and design alongside over 15 years of experience in education, leadership and professional learning.
My career has combined creative practice with education, working across teaching, training and creative design to support people in developing ideas, skills and projects.
This experience allows me to work comfortably across both creative and professional contexts — from brand and communication design to learning programmes, workshops and collaborative projects.

Through Studio Creations I explore portrait photography, prints and creative visual work that capture everyday moments, people and atmosphere.
This side of my practice allows space for creativity, experimentation and storytelling, and often informs the visual thinking that underpins my consultancy work.
