Projects explore ideas that sit at the intersection of design, learning and visual storytelling.

Alongside consultancy and photography work, I develop creative and research-based projects that explore how visual communication, design and learning can support organisations, communities and individuals.

These projects often evolve through experimentation, collaboration and creative practice.

With a background in art and design, extensive experience in education and training, and a recently completed Diploma in Instructional Design, my work brings together creative thinking and learning expertise to explore new ways of communicating ideas and knowledge.

One current area of exploration is the 3LB Visual Learning Toolkit, which looks at how visual frameworks can help make learning and communication clearer and more accessible.

This work connects with the wider creative practice of Studio Creations and supports ongoing experimentation and development.

The 3LB Visual Learning Toolkit is an ongoing project exploring how visual frameworks and design thinking can support accessible learning and communication.

Many organisations rely heavily on text-based materials when delivering training, onboarding or programme information. This project explores how visual structures and creative design can help make learning clearer, more engaging and more accessible.

The project aims to develop a toolkit that includes:

• visual learning templates
• programme and onboarding frameworks
• guidance for designing accessible learning materials
• workshops exploring visual learning approaches

This work brings together my experience in design, education and creative practice, exploring how visual thinking can support understanding and engagement.

Visual Storytelling Through Photography

Studio Creations also supports ongoing exploration of visual storytelling through photography and print.

These projects focus on capturing everyday moments, natural environments and human connection through simple and thoughtful imagery.

Through portrait photography, documentary-style sessions and artistic work, Studio Creations explores how images can tell stories, preserve memory and capture atmosphere.

Selected images from this work are developed into prints, cards and creative visual pieces.
